A Real Resume to Represent Arizona
Andy moved to Arizona in 1979, and spent 14 years in banking and the real estate mortgage loan business in Phoenix. He worked through the savings and loan crisis and gained a great education in business and customer service.
In 1988 Andy was elected one of the youngest national presidents of any service organization. At 29 years old, Andy was elected as the first ever from Arizona to lead the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce (US JAYCEES) raising over a million and a half dollars for MDA (Muscular dystrophy Association), hundreds of thousands of dollars and international support for St. Judes Children’s research hospital, joined with UNICEF and Russian Ambassador Dobrinin, in support of the victims of the earth wake in Armenia. While believing in the creed of the Jaycees organization that “..service to humanity is the best work of life” , Andy also reminded members of their services responsibilities to their nation. Andy led the Nation’s largest young person’s service and training organization to unanimously adopt a balance budget and line item veto initiative and worked with the Reagan and Bush Whitehouse to support this work.
ANDY has been married to Jennifer for 25 years and has five children.
In 1995, Andy started and continues to manage his successful insurance and employee benefit business. TLC Employee Benefits, with his partner Frank LeClaire. Andy has owned and sold a local Farmers Insurance Agency and has been licensed with the Arizona Department of Insurance for over 20 years.
Andy served for three years as the CEO of a local aerospace manufacturer, selling it for the owner in 2003. With over 170 employees, the company weathered the effects off the attacks on the World Trade Center and his fine staff made the company even more successful.

Note From Andy Tobin...
It's time to be positive about Arizona's future. Arizona must demonstrate that we have the vision, budgetary discipline and the political will to make Arizona attractive to new and growing businesses. Economies get stronger when people have good jobs.
This will be an exciting election year. To our young voters, welcome and please become active in the election process. If you do not stand up and voice your opinion, other interests will. The result will likely be that instead of making tough choices on budget restraint and investment, we borrow more, putting the debt onto you and your children. Economies do not remain stable with more government and more borrowing. The debt cycle must come to an end if today's young generation and future generations are to inherit a better America then we have today. Our children will be America's next Greatest Generation if we let them and don't bury them in our arrogance and irresponsibility.
It has been my honor to serve District 1 and the State of Arizona for the last three 1/2 years in the House of Representatives and I ask for your continued support this year.
Sincerely;
